Labor & Delivery RN

Schedule

Shift: 03:00–15:00; every other weekend required; on-call required if a shift is cancelled.

Assignment Details

Must have vehicle for assignment.

Requirements

• Must possess a compact license.
• 2 years of RN experience (or at least 1 year as confirmed with the account manager).
• Certifications required: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
• Experience with electronic charting in Epic.
• Skills in labor & delivery management, external fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, postpartum hemorrhage management, and IV/infusion pump use.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery process, including high-risk obstetrics.
• Perform external fetal monitoring and provide cesarean assistance/recovery.
• Coordinate care for mother and baby under a couplet care model.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Conduct assessments for newborns and manage potential complications.
• Participate in floating to postpartum and high-risk antepartum as needed.

Compliance / Notes

Completion of orientation is required, lasting 36 hours. Candidate must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays during the holiday season.
