Schedule
Shift: 03:00–15:00;
Weekends:
Yes (every other);
On-call:
Yes (on scheduled shifts if cancelled)
Assignment Details
Orientation: 36 hours;
Vehicle required for assignment
Requirements
- Valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
- Certifications:
BLS; AWHONN Intermediate - Years of experience:
Minimum 1 year; 2 years preferred - Core clinical skills:
Labor & Delivery, Couplet care, Antepartum, Postpartum care, High-risk OB management, Neonatal resuscitation, Fetal monitoring, IV management
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum units
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Monitor fetal heart rates and manage complications
- Administer medications and IV fluids as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
