Schedule
Shift: 1500–0300 (primary). Weekends:
Yes — every other weekend. On-call:
Yes.
Assignment Details
Floats between Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- References: 2 within the last 3 years, covering at least 1 year.
- Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
- Charting system:
Epic. - Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
- Compact license:
Must be in hand at submission.
Responsibilities
- Manage labor and delivery for patients.
- Provide couplet care for mother and newborn.
- Assist with vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, including circulating and recovery.
- Monitor fetal heart patterns and manage deviations.
- Administer medication and therapy as needed.
- Conduct neonatal assessments and manage newborn complications.
Compliance / Notes
Holiday coverage:
Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays — Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. Orientation: 36 hours.
