Join us at The Oregon Clinic as a full-time (36 hours per week) Internal Medicine Registered Nurse Level

Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include:
- Responsible for providing professional nursing care for clinic patients under the direction of a Physician(s) and within their scope of practice according to the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- Works directly with physicians and staff in coordinating excellent patient care. Registered Nurses function as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians.
- Performs patient assessment and triage, either in person or over the phone. Properly documents all encounters for providers review, flagging any urgent concerns.
- Performs clinical care in accordance with nursing standards within the specialty; may include taking vitals, recording and verifying medications, wound care, phlebotomy, injections, administering injections and treatments.
- Assists providers with routine procedures/surgeries.
- Provides patient and families health education. Orders prescription refills according to clinic protocol.
- Assists physicians with procedures according to prescribed standards. Anticipates the needs of the physician.
- Orders and maintains medical inventory of supplies as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Hiring range, based on experience and credentials
- Level I: $43.52 -$58.88 per hour.
Workdays:
Typical hours are 36 per week, hours are 8:00am-6:00 pm. M, W, TH, F with Tuesday off and 1 rotating Saturday
Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including:
- Current Oregon state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
- Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is strongly preferred. Epic experience is a plus!
- Excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
- A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
