- Shift: 12-hour or 24-hour shifts (7 am–7 pm / 7 am–7 am)
- Hours/week: Variable based on shift schedule
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- License/Certs: State of Oregon license for NP or PA, Neonatal fellowship or residency completion
- Experience: Preference given to candidates with neonatal or delivery room experience
- Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour (note: this appears to be placeholder; actual pay discussed upon application)

- Provide clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants within a Level III NICU setting
- Exercise autonomy in ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans
- Deliver family-centered care, including patient education and support
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Attend deliveries and perform neonatal procedures as needed
- Manage a high volume of patients, including complex and intensive cases
- Document clinical findings accurately and efficiently
- Oregon license as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Completion of a Neonatal PA fellowship or residency program (12 months)
- Experience in neonatal or delivery room care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
This opportunity is with a well-established healthcare provider in Portland, Oregon, supporting two outstanding Level III NICUs. The role involves delivering high-level neonatal clinical management with flexibility in shifts, enabling a balanced work-life environment. Providers will work at both Providence St. Vincent and Providence Portland Medical Centers, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to offer exceptional neonatal care.
