About This Role

The OR RN Circulator plays a crucial role in delivering quality health care to patients during the inter-operative phase, ensuring a high-performance culture and collaboration within the health care team.

• Pay: $53 - $79/hour
• Location: Portland, OR
• Facility: South Interstate Medical Offices
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Assess, plan, direct, provide, and evaluate nursing care for patients during the inter-operative phase.
• Monitor and take corrective action to prevent recurring absences.
• Comply with shift, unit, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Participate in clinic and nursing Quality Assurance Programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient and organizational records (HIPAA Standards).
• Utilize assessment data when instituting the plan of care.
• Organize nursing activities efficiently in both circulating and scrub roles.
• Evaluate and document patient outcomes.
• Maintain safety in the use of all equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
• Attend and constructively participate in staff meetings.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

Experience:

• Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years.
• 2 years of experience circulating in inpatient or ambulatory surgery setting within the past 5 years.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
