Requirements:

• High School Education/GED or equivalent:
  Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification:
  Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification:
  Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field
• Experience with EMR systems required

Responsibilities:

• Provides personal nursing care to the patient under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN).
• Assists with activities of daily living including nutrition, hydration, bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Takes vital signs, such as pulse and blood pressure.
• Performs routine assigned tasks and reports patient status and concerns to the RN.
• Maintains organizational skills to ensure smooth operations of the unit.
• Performs clerical duties, including routing patient reports as necessary.
