Registered Nurse - Med Surg in Portland, Oregon. This is a travel - temporary assignment starting 10/19/2026 for a 13-week contract in a hospital setting. You will work nights (3x12-hour shifts), delivering 36 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from 1,929 to 2,042, and there are no guaranteed hours beyond the scheduled shifts.

Hospital environment in Portland, OR
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients using established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policy and safety guidelines.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff on the unit; delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines; communicate changes in patient status effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes; uphold patient safety and quality standards.
- Active RN licensure appropriate for practice in Oregon (or eligibility/transfer as applicable).
- Med Surg nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts; willingness to adapt to a travel assignment schedule.
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
