Neurology Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position in the targeted location. This role involves floating between units as needed, providing specialized care for neuro patients, and working night shifts. The RN must be proficient in neuro skills, including stroke assessment and trauma care, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Schedule:

Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

• Valid state license (compact license accepted)
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• at least 1 year of recent neuro patient experience
• proficiency in cerebrovascular accident (CVA)
• isolation precautions/PPE
• Med/Surg
• neurosurgery
• spinal cord injury
• substance withdrawal
• traumatic brain injury
• use of rapid response/code teams;
  Epic charting system experience required

Float rotation may be required to other neuro or medical surgical units based on skill sets and staffing needs

• Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
• Candidates will be expected to work three of the five designated holidays and to comply with the facilitys float requests, which may include floating to sister facilities in nearby locations.
• Successful candidates will need to provide two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.

Cross Country Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
