Hiring for QC Inspector in Portland, Oregon Job Summary
Performs routine inspection of electronic, electro‑mechanical, and mechanical materials, components, and sub‑assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Inspection & Testing- Conduct visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in‑process components, and finished products.
- Use precision measuring tools and lab equipment to verify dimensions and performance.
- Maintain Lot History Records (LHR), batch records, and inspection logs per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Ensure compliance with FDA and quality regulations.
- Identify and report defects.
- Initiate Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) and support investigations.
- Monitor adherence to SOPs and GMP standards.
- Perform routine calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
- Work cross‑functionally with production and engineering teams to support quality and compliance initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in SAP, POMS, or LIMS
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, preferably in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
