Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager - Beverage leads all quality and food safety programs to ensure products meet regulatory standards, company requirements, and customer expectations. This role partners cross‑functionally to maintain compliance, drive continuous improvement, and foster a strong culture of quality across production operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead QA and food safety programs across beverage manufacturing operations
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory standards
  • Oversee quality control processes (raw materials, in‑process, finished goods)
  • Manage internal, customer, and regulatory audits and inspections
  • Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Maintain SOPs, specifications, and quality documentation
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D to ensure product consistency and process optimization
  • Track and analyze quality metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead food safety and quality training programs for employees
  • Manage supplier quality and third‑party testing relationships
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
  • 3+ years of QA experience in food/beverage manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and FDA regulations
  • Experience with audits, inspections, and quality systems
  • Proven leadership and problem‑solving skills
Preferred
  • SQF, BRC, or other GFSI experience
  • HACCP or PCQI certification
  • Beverage production experience (bottling, canning, pasteurization)
  • Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement background
