Job Summary
We need a hands‑on Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) to provide daily quality support at our Portland branch. This person will be the local quality presence, partnering with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to drive compliance, resolve issues quickly, and reduce risk.
Pay $25 per hour plus opportunity to receive monthly gainshare bonus.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, accountable, collaborative, and willing to roll up their sleeves to support the business. This role is critical to maintaining quality performance, supporting growth, and providing on‑site quality leadership.
Key Accountabilities- Document and data control oversight in Plant, ownership and maintenance of measurement devices, corrective and preventive actions and their follow‑ups, oversight of quality records held in Plant, process auditing for compliance to procedures, implementing statistical control of equipment and processes.
- Responsible for accurate information and timely processing of non‑conforming material.
- QAR does not own responsibility for all Plant training; QAR will act as trainer on quality department documents.
- Responsible to ensure proper records are maintained for gages, nonconforming material, inspection forms, stamp logs, etc.
- Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies.
- Good written and verbal skills are required. QAR must be detail oriented to the requirements of our Quality Management System. Quality system training is preferred, but not required. Desire for additional formal training should exist.
- Must have rudimentary computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Should have exposure to a fast paced warehouse environment, and be comfortable with short task completion expectations. Ability to work with a diversified work force required. Ability to effectively interact with Plant Operations Supervisors and Managers required.
- Formal quality training is preferred, but not required. Additional training as determined by the Quality Supervisor.
- ASQ certification
- 3 years Quality Assurance/Control experience
- Experience or training in ISO
9001:2015 or AS9100 quality standards
