Quality Assurance Manager – Beverage
Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Manager – Beverage leads all quality and food safety programs to ensure products meet regulatory standards, company requirements, and customer expectations. This role partners cross-functionally to maintain compliance, drive continuous improvement, and foster a strong culture of quality across production operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead QA and food safety programs across beverage manufacturing operations
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, HACCP, GMP, and other regulatory standards
  • Oversee quality control processes (raw materials, in-process, finished goods)
  • Manage internal, customer, and regulatory audits and inspections
  • Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Maintain SOPs, specifications, and quality documentation
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D to ensure product consistency and process optimization
  • Track and analyze quality metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead food safety and quality training programs for employees
  • Manage supplier quality and third-party testing relationships
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
  • 3+ years of QA experience in food/beverage manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and FDA regulations

    Experience with audits, inspections, and quality systems
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • SQF, BRC, or other GFSI experience
  • HACCP or PCQI certification
  • Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement background
