Sales Associate

Responsible for assisting customers and supporting the retail team at prAna, a brand of Columbia Sportswear, by delivering exceptional service, driving sales, and maintaining store standards.

• Deliver helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly service in person, by phone, and on mobile devices.
• Welcome prAna customers with a warm demeanor and create a positive shopping experience.
• Assist customers in finding merchandise, recommend products, and maximize store sales.
• Process special orders, exchanges, returns, and in‑store orders from  using the POS system.
• Maintain product knowledge through training and inform customers about apparel and accessories.
• Perform inventory cycle counts, order processing, and stock‑room organization.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store (windows, floors, dusting).
• Follow inventory control and loss prevention procedures.
• Assist with merchandising, floor resets, and visual merchandising guidelines.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols and operate within company guidelines.

• No experience required; retail sales or customer service in specialty apparel a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Must be able to remain stationary, move throughout the store, communicate with others, and handle items weighing up to 40 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities.
