Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Showroom Manager to help lead our showroom team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role combines people leadership, operational oversight, and sales support within a premium showroom environment featuring plumbing fixtures, luxury appliances, lighting, and decorative hardware. The Assistant Showroom Manager will coach and develop associates, drive business performance, and ensure the showroom operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Showroom Sales associates, Coordinators, and Customer Service associates.
- Drive team performance through ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and career development initiatives.
- Oversee daily showroom operations, scheduling, and workforce planning.
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to improve results.
- Ensure a best‑class customer experience and resolve escalated customer concerns.
- Support execution of sales and customer service initiatives to achieve business goals.
- Maintain showroom presentation standards, ensuring displays, pricing, and product information remain accurate and up to date.
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to support product training, promotions, and merchandising efforts.
- Foster a safety‑first culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Previous leadership experience in retail, showroom, sales, hospitality, customer service, or a related environment.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop high‑performing teams.
- Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience managing daily operations, schedules, and performance metrics.
- Ability to resolve customer concerns and make sound business decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with in plumbing, appliances, lighting, decorative hardware, home improvement, interior design, or building products is preferred.
- Passion for delivering an elevated customer experience and helping customers bring their design vision to life.
- Pay Range: $4,708.34 – $7,525.00 per month (salaried) or equivalent hourly for other roles.
- This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible.
