Are you passionate about sustainability and looking to make an impact from day one? Join the MoveUP Marketplace team at the University of Portland! We’re hiring 6 student workers to help deliver rented microwaves and mini fridges to dorm rooms and staff our pop-up store before and during Orientation Weekend.
You’ll play a key role in welcoming new Pilots and reducing campus waste by keeping donated appliances in use—saving students money and keeping perfectly good items out of the landfill.

Your Mission:
- Deliver clean, gently used microwaves and mini fridges to dorm rooms across campus using carts and equipment provided.
- Communicate with student renters (and their family) and maintain a friendly, helpful attitude during deliveries.
- Assist with organizing, sorting, and preparing rental appliances for pickup and delivery.
- Help track delivery status and ensure all appliances are taken to the correct students and their proper locations.
- Be available and ready to work during Orientation Weekend (Aug 20–23) and the following weekdays as needed.
- Available between 8/17–8/28 for up to 20 hours.
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs.
