Position: HOME/RELIEF ASST DEPT LEADER
The Kroger Company - 100 Northwest 20th Place - Responsibilities:
Assist with the management of the department and assume leadership in the absence of Home Merchandising Assistant Manager and Home Operations Assistant Manager;
Model and promote customer service excellence;
Teach and demonstrate selling skills;
Complete customer incident and associate injury reports;
Communicate daily tours, sales, and goals to staff;
Understand and follow labor agreements, when applicable;
Promote and follow company initiatives;
Verify store conditions and recovery;
Process special orders and maintain stockroom fixture bay;
Review bay dating and ensure read-and-sign forms are completed;
Train associates and follow up on training needs;
Process salvage, returns, callbacks, recalls, and review write-offs;
Review supply needs and recap to File Maintenance Clerk;
Verify accuracy of Toy & Variety consolidation orders
