Sales Associate - Early Morning

We are looking to add a Sales Associates to our amazing team at our Portland Airport Location! Our Airport store is an exciting and fun place to work with traveleres from all over the world shopping with us. We want people who love working with the public, helping tourists feel welcome, and love Oregon products. You will truly be an ambassador for all things Oregon.

About the Role:

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction within our retail environment. This position is responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs. The Sales Associate will also maintain a well-organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring that products are displayed effectively to attract customers. Additionally, this role involves processing transactions accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall financial success of the store.

The Sales Associate is key to fostering a positive shopping experience that encourages repeat business and customer loyalty.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Must be over 21 or older due to wine tasting
• Must have or obtain an OLCC License
• Due to airport regulations, you will need to pass a federal background screening.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized product recommendations.
• Maximize customer satisfaction through product knowledge.
• Provide a pleasant shopping experience.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance.

• The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• The associate must frequently stand for long periods of time.
• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach, twist or squat.
• Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom and office areas.
• Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
