JEWELRY/ DC SEASONAL PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

Job DescriptionProcess merchandise to and from stores and vendors. Role model and demonstrate the Company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
Responsibilities- Model "Customer 1st" behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
- Distribute merchandise to stores via the jewelry system
- Tag jewelry merchandise
- Process merchandise returns from stores to vendors
- Process receivables; verify item, quantity, and cost of receivables against purchase orders and invoices
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum
- HS diploma/GED plus two-three years jewelry experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to work weekends on an occasional basis
- Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects
- Familiarity with jewelry terms and processes
- 4,000 SPH ten-key by touch
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure
- Jewelry sales, receiving, and/or accounting experience
- 40 WPM typing
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
- Ability to operate the following special equipment, machinery, and/or special tools: tagging machine
- Proficient with jewelry system software
