Job Description
A public utility company is hiring a Telecommunications / SCADA Project Controller to join their Project Delivery (PMO) team supporting capital Transmission and Distribution projects. This role will partner closely with Telecommunications and SCADA Project Managers to support full project lifecycle controls including forecasting, accruals, cost tracking, and material tracking.
You will serve as the financial and controls partner to the PMs—tracking project performance, identifying variances, and ensuring alignment to governance and approved budgets. This role is highly integrated into project execution and supports multiple active capital projects.

Skillsand Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of Project Controls experience
- Strong experience with forecasting, accruals and cost tracking/reporting
- SAP experience
- Advanced Excel (data analysis, tracking, reporting)
- Experience supporting capital projects ($1M+)
- Power utility or utility construction experience
- Telecommunications / SCADA project exposure
- Experience working on Transmission & Distribution projects
- Experience with project lifecycle governance
- Maximo or similar systems
