General Manager - Mint Cannabis

Schedule: Full-time (Typical hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility)

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 / year

Mint Cannabis Co. is seeking an ambitious, hands‑on General Manager to lead operations and drive the successful opening of our brand‑new SW Portland store location. In this role, you will oversee daily store operations, manage financial accuracy, foster team growth, and ensure full compliance with Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the setup, launch, and daily operational routine of our new store location; delegate tasks and set a high standard for cleanliness and organization.

• Hire, train, and onboard new staff; manage performance, provide ongoing coaching, create weekly work schedules, and facilitate regular team meetings.

• Maintain strict compliance with OLCC sales limits and safety regulations; collaborate with inventory teams to ensure product availability and resolve discrepancies.

• Oversee daily cash flow, conduct daily cash counts, compile weekly financial reports, and manage financial reporting to ownership.

• Drive a high standard of customer service, resolve guest feedback, and de-escalate customer service issues effectively.

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Have a valid Oregon Liquor Cannabis Commission (OLCC) card

• High school diploma or GED

• Proven track record in retail/dispensary managerial roles (direct experience opening new store locations is strongly preferred)

• Advanced knowledge of cannabis products and working familiarity with OLCC compliance rules and sales limits

• Proficient with Google Workspace, POS systems, computer software, and standard data entry

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
