Performs housekeeping tasks and maintains whole store cleanliness. Provides exceptional customer service and contributes to a positive and collaborative team environment.

General requirements include engaging customers in a friendly manner, working a flexible schedule, demonstrating a solutions-oriented approach, representing company values, conserving company resources, adhering to work and food safety policies, observing all company rules, and demonstrating sound judgment.

Position responsibilities include maintaining whole store cleanliness, cleaning break room refrigerators, emptying trash, recycling, and compost, keeping the parking lot clean, sorting clean laundry, using various tools and equipment, restocking supplies, performing deep cleaning tasks, handling damaged and spoiled products, and notifying management of any adverse situations.

Previous customer service, food service, retail or grocery experience preferred. Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. Knowledge of retail operations or housekeeping experience preferred.

Work occurs in a grocery store environment which includes wet and slippery surfaces, stairs or elevators, moderate noise level, and temperature extremes.
