The Retail Store Manager II coordinates the daily operations of domestic retail stores ensuring consistent and efficient performance. Manages the team structure and day-to-day activities including onsite inventory management, process and procedure creation and enforcement.
Essential Functions
- Oversees people management and operational performance in retail location, including talent planning, recruiting strategies, performance management, succession planning, and workforce scheduling. Coaches and develops team to build strong leadership pipelines and consistent employee experience.
- Manages the flow of product availability in store, ensuring minimum on hand levels align with sales targets and forecasts. Considers trends, customer and staff feedback.
- Establishes and monitors standardized receiving, returns, and pricing accuracy processes, ensuring timely execution, compliance with controls,and resolution of discrepancies impacting margin or customer experience.
- Ensures consistent execution of visual merchandising and in store presentations, reinforcing alignment with standards set in visual merchandising manual.
- Facilitates in-store corporate sales and promotional events, ensuring staff are informed of promotional priorities to drive sales and meet establishedKPIs.
- Monitors digital platforms such as yelp and google for customer reviews onin-store experiences. Responds to reviews and uses information to evaluate policies and procedures and maintain high service levels.
- In charge of managing labor, supplies, travel, and events budgets for retail location. In charge of ensuring that charges are coded to correct GLaccounts.
- Proactively assesses store operations, team performance, and customer experience within the store, providing insights and recommendations tosupport overall initiatives and continued improvements.
- Translates store goals into daily action plans, adjusting priorities, schedules, and processes to meet operational and customer experience expectations.
- Reviews individual and team performance against expectations, providing real-time coaching and guidance to maintain strong execution and accountability.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum seven (7) years experience in a retail environment required.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity preferred.
Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.

- Proven ability to develop and mentor employees.
- Advanced decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

The salary range posted for this position represents the anticipated hiring range for this role. Offers are made within this range based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market considerations. This is the hiring range for the position; compensation above the posted maximum is not typically available at the time of hire.
