Rambler Sparkling Water is hiring a Field Sales Manager to drive retail and distribution growth across the Pacific Northwest, with a focus on Portland. You'll serve as a key brand ambassador, growing Rambler's presence across Grocery, Class B, Independents, and Food service/On-Premise channels.
Responsibilities include building retailer relationships, securing new distribution partners, managing existing distributor accounts, coordinating with third-party merchandising teams, executing in-store demos, and supporting local event activations.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You know how to push boundaries respectfully and execute with confidence. Strong communication skills are a must. Portland-based with beverage industry experience and a solid understanding of the PNW grocery landscape. This role is anchored in Portland but will support additional markets as Rambler continues to expand across the region.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular store visits (10-12 accounts daily) to maximize presence, ask for new placements, and/or to sell in secondary placements
- Manage daily distributor relationships and execute local market plans
- Build and maintain relationships with grocery managers, on-premise accounts, and key partners
- Drive volume and distribution to meet assigned quarterly sales goals
- Partner with third-party merchandisers to ensure the execution of displays and in-store visibility
- Support demos and local event activations in collaboration with marketing
- Monitor and report weekly on sales, growth opportunities, and competitor activity
- Represent Rambler with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm
- 4+ years of sales experience in CPG, beverage experience required
- Strong working knowledge of the Portland and Seattle markets and their local retail dynamics
- Proven experience managing both large and small distributors
- Goal-oriented with a track record of adapting to challenges and delivering results
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of Google Slides or PowerPoint, Excel, Word, VIP, and Karma
- Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel throughout PNW and surrounding areas
