Job DescriptionPNC Financial Wellness Solutions offers a comprehensive suite of solutions to meet the needs of various businesses and their employees. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for working directly with clients to develop and drive a financial wellness program aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
In this role, you will provide innovative solutions including health and benefit accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access, and other financial wellness offerings. You will employ a consultative sales approach to acquire new business relationships and work directly with knowledgeable client services teams and partners to support the growth of a book of business.
Experience selling to one or more of the following areas is preferred: professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, general services.
- Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet, handling origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of non‑credit products and services.
- Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients, actively identifying and mitigating regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
- Provide ideas and insights based on an understanding of clients’ needs and financial well‑being, increasing engagement and loyalty.
- Build an effective network of internal and external relationships, including community and industry relationships, to acquire new clients, expand existing clients, and enhance client experience.
- Leverage reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and convert sales opportunities.
- Analyze, evaluate, and inform on financial wellness solutions product knowledge, industry benchmarking, and solution positioning.
Minimum:
- University or college degree with 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
- Experience in selling financial wellness solutions, including client relationship building and prospecting.
- Strong analytical, decision‑making, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Book of Business development experience.
- Knowledge of credit processes, credit products, and financial analysis.
- Tech savvy and comfortable using sales tools.
