The Job

As a Territory Manager, MEP
, you will manage a territory of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) accounts. You'll handle account management, conduct daily in‑person visits, establish relationships with key decision makers, drive top‑line sales through strategic initiatives, and manage accountability to key performance indicators and goals.

Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned business in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) groups.
  • Execute strategic plans using go‑to‑market strategy, product service, marketing programs, and targeted funds.
  • Regularly call on all key customers in the assigned area, including daily travel to distributors, customers, and events.
  • Achieve sales targets for power tools, hand tools, accessories, and support key regional chains.
  • Establish key relationships with internal teams, distribution partners, and end users.
  • Conduct distributor and end‑user product training and identify conversions.
  • Gain knowledge of channel‑specific pricing structures and programming.
  • Communicate opportunities, issues, and trends to management and marketing.
  • Effectively manage T&E, MAP budget, and field schedule.
  • Use  to document work plans, visit logs, and maintain customer master data accuracy.
  • Analyze Power BI and Sales Force data to develop strategic growth plans for financial performance.
  • Utilize Power BI and Microsoft Office suite.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of sales experience in product, commercial, or industrial sales.
  • Willingness to travel; up to 50% overnight travel.
  • Goal‑oriented and results‑driven with a proven ability to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
  • Strong product and market knowledge to drive sales and gain share with retail partners.
  • Flexible and adept in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and event promotion skills.
  • Proficiency with IT business systems (e.g., , Tool Commerce) and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR screening.
  • Ability to pass all drug and criminal background checks.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with total target cash compensation ranging from $67,200 to $108,200.
