As a Territory Manager, you will drive new business growth and ensure customer success within the Northeast region of Oregon. You will execute sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, meet ambitious growth targets, and act as Halter’s on‑the‑ground representative. Frequent travel within the region is expected.
Responsibilities- Prospect new business by attending local cattle auctions, livestock associations, and industry events while building a pipeline through outbound lead generation.
- Conduct in‑field sales by engaging customers on ranches, meeting with cattle handlers, and delivering value‑focused conversations about Halter’s solutions.
- Expand existing opportunities by identifying upsell and cross‑sell options and maintaining long‑term customer relationships.
- Achieve high‑growth sales targets, manage the pipeline, qualify leads, and pursue opportunities without second‑guessing.
- Own customer account management after sale, ensuring satisfaction, providing support, and addressing challenges while collaborating with onboarding teams.
- Take full ownership of the territory, building relationships with stakeholders at local, state, and federal levels.
- Lead the end‑to‑end customer experience during onboarding and deployment, ensuring smooth transition from sales to implementation.
- Collect and communicate field learnings and feedback to product and support teams.
- Collaborate with support teams to resolve issues quickly and keep customers fully supported.
- Participate in industry events, generate leads, and deepen relationships with existing customers.
- Contribute to the US sales strategy by sharing insights that help optimize the sales process for the market.
- Results‑driven attitude and strong communication skills.
- Experience in ranching or cattle operations, with deep knowledge of industry challenges.
- Strong background in business development, negotiation, and customer success; ability to build lasting relationships and drive upsells.
- Territory management experience in a large, balanced sales environment, preferably in agriculture or technology.
- Proficient problem‑solving and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
- Knowledge of precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies.
- Background in customer‑facing roles within ag‑tech.
- Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment.
- Annual USD $750 personal development budget.

Compensation Range: $140K – $190K
