Showroom Salesperson

Pay:
Starting at $23.27 to $27.74 per hour plus commission.

• Serve both in-person and phone customers across PARR’s product range.
• Create designs, estimates, and help customers find products that fit their project needs.
• Generate purchase orders and use manufacturer design and quoting software for approvals and purchasing.
• Arrange and track product deliveries and work with PARR’s installation team to ensure successful outcomes.
• Meet personal sales and profit goals while supporting team and location objectives.
• Handle customer complaints, warranty, and replacements, and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and voicemails; complete purchase orders on time.
• Read blueprints, create take‑offs, and support contractor sales people.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product brands and selling techniques and share information with coworkers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the building materials industry or related fields.
• Experience working with cabinets, appliances, or windows.
• Knowledge of retail and contractor sales principles, practices, and protocols.
• Ability to balance company interests with customer needs while meeting aggressive sales targets.
• Typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; comfortable operating a PC, telephone, scanner, and other equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills – speaking, writing, and reading in English.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, work in an office environment, and travel locally and overnight.
