Outside Sales Professional

Job Summary

We are seeking an Outside Sales Professional for a direct hire opportunity in Portland, OR with a growing motors and pumps related business development team. This role is ideal for a motivated B2B sales representative who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, opening new accounts, and growing long-term customer partnerships.

This is a strong opportunity for a sales professional with a hunter mentality, consultative selling skills, and the drive to build a long-term career. Industry-specific experience with motors, pumps, compressors, or industrial products is helpful but not required. The team is more interested in hiring a coachable, relationship-focused salesperson with a proven ability to prospect, learn technical products, and produce results.

With uncapped commission, strong earning potential, and a territory-based sales model, this role offers a clear path for a self-motivated sales professional to succeed.

• Prospect, cold call, and develop new B2B accounts throughout the assigned Portland-area territory.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consultative selling and consistent follow-up.
• Grow existing accounts by identifying additional sales opportunities and customer needs.
• Learn and present technical product solutions to customers in a clear, professional, and value-focused manner.
• Manage daily territory travel, customer meetings, pipeline activity, and administrative follow-up.
• Partner with internal teams to support customer satisfaction, quotes, orders, and long-term account growth.

• Base salary of $65,000 to $85,000 per year.
• Estimated on-target earnings of $100,000 to $160,000+.
• Uncapped commission.
• Vehicle allowance plus mileage.
• Medical, dental, vision, and PTO.
• Schedule includes approximately 75% field sales and 25% administrative work.
• Daily territory travel required.
