- Develop and execute a territory sales plan targeting ready-mix and precast concrete producers, contractors, and distributor accounts.
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage distributors and dealers to expand and strengthen market coverage.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with concrete producers, contractors, and other key accounts.
- Promote and sell admixtures, chemical additives, and related concrete/construction products to new and existing customers.
- Provide technical guidance, product recommendations, and troubleshooting support in the field, including batch plant and job-site visits.
- Plan and deliver product demonstrations, trials, and training for customers and distribution partners.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and distribution agreements in line with company margin and volume targets.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends, and report insights back to sales and product management.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas; provide accurate forecasts and pipeline reporting.
- Partner with technical services, R&D, customer service, and logistics teams to resolve customer issues and support new product introductions.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of accounts, opportunities, and activity in the company CRM.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of outside sales experience selling concrete admixtures, specialty/construction chemicals, or closely related building products.
- Demonstrated experience selling to and managing relationships with contractors and concrete/ready-mix producers.
- Experience developing, managing, or growing a distributor or dealer network.
- Working knowledge of concrete chemistry, admixture performance, or construction materials (or strong aptitude to learn quickly).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory, including job sites and production facilities.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
