Part-Time Sales & Operations Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Sales

Location: Portland, OR

Job Type: Part-Time, 20–30 hours per week

Job Summary

RIGOL is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Sales & Operations Coordinator to support our North American business. This is a hands-on, part-time role spanning sales support, order management, customer service, and e-commerce operations
.

You will help manage customer and distributor orders from receipt through fulfillment, support inbound sales opportunities, maintain our e-commerce platforms, and coordinate with sales, logistics, finance, marketing, and technical support.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, comfortable working across multiple systems, and willing to take ownership of tasks from start to finish. This role provides broad exposure to the commercial operations of a growing international technology company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries by phone, email, and online channels.
  • Provide customers with product information, pricing, availability, and order status.
  • Support inbound sales opportunities and route more complex opportunities to the appropriate territory sales manager.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries, quotes, and open opportunities to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate customer, lead, and opportunity information in Salesforce.
  • Assist with prospecting and sales outreach, including researching and updating customer information through Linked In and other sources.
Order & Operations Management
  • Enter and process direct and distributor sales orders, purchase orders, and related documentation.
  • Manage orders from receipt through shipment, including monitoring status, availability, delivery dates, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with logistics, finance, sales, and other teams to resolve order or delivery issues.
  • Communicate proactively with customers and distributors regarding order status, delays, shipping information, and other updates.
  • Help maintain accurate order records and identify issues requiring escalation.
  • Support other day-to-day operational activities as needed.
E-Commerce Management
  • Support the day-to-day management of RIGOL's e-commerce sales channels.
  • Maintain product listings, pricing, availability, descriptions, and other product information across e-commerce platforms.
  • Identify and resolve listing, order, inventory, or customer-service issues.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, logistics, and corporate teams to improve e-commerce execution.
  • Track basic e-commerce performance and identify opportunities to improve sales, product visibility, and the customer experience.
Team Coordination
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, technical support, logistics, operations, and finance.
  • Coordinate with RIGOL's global headquarters and other international teams in support of North American operations.
  • Help improve processes and identify opportunities to make sales and order management more efficient.
What You Bring to the Role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion.
  • Comfortable communicating directly with customers and internal teams.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and willing to solve problems independently.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce, ERP/order-management systems, and e-commerce platforms is preferred but not required.
  • Interest in technology, electronics, sales, or business operations is a plus.
  • Ability to work approximately 20–30 hours per week
    , with some flexibility in scheduling.
