Spirits Sales Representitive - Contractor

We are the leading Oregon owned wine wholesaler and spirits brokerage in the state. With a portfolio of fine wine and spirits, a team who believes in the work we do and a shared desire to win. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with accounts, promoting our portfolio of wine and spirits and delivering exceptional service. The expectation is to increase sales into existing accounts and through new account acquisition.

The account base includes both off premise (liquor stores) and on-premise (restaurants, bars).

• Identify opportunities consistent with the objectives, priorities, and strategies of assigned and new customers
• Proficient in both retail and restaurant sales environments, as well as the OLCC
• Ability to build new business in defined sales territory
• Showcase desire to sell, learn and execute defined set of daily tasks
• Print and hang POS (Point-of-Sale) to maximize sales of your retail shelf placements and displays
• Demonstrate wine and spirit knowledge, and the ability to quickly learn Mitchell's portfolio
• Ability to strategically plan, prepare a daily and weekly plan
• Work with Sales Managers to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives
• Comfortable speaking with the public in demo setting
• Work according to scheduled tasks outside normal work hours on occasion, including, evening and weekend in-store demos

• Reliable transportation to service the sales territory
• Must be able to drive in adverse weather and environmental conditions, getting in and out of vehicle as required to service accounts
• Ability to repeatedly move products weighing up to 50 pounds, including lifting, placing, pushing and pulling
• Repetitive bending, kneeling, and climbing
• Ability to stand for hours
• Valid Oregon driver's license, proof of insurance for vehicle required
