Sunstates Security is currently hiring a Full-Time Swing Shift Security Supervisor to support our sites in the surrounding Portland, OR area
. This position offers a pay rate of $26.02/hr – paid weekly
.

Must have a reliable means of transportation and be able to travel to the site any of the seven days of the week. The preferred candidate will have availability for short notice work and call outs, flexibility to adapt their schedule to business needs, outstanding customer service skills, a valid driver’s license and clean record. All applicants should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is preferred, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity
• Willingness to hold a team accountable to job standards without favoritism or bias while upholding those same standards in their own performance
• Displays leadership, accountability, and a desire to improve in all aspects of their work
• Must possess or acquire a current DPSST unarmed security supervisor license
• Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance
• Can mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure
• Possesses a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and is comfortable using computer systems
• Can read and understand written instructions and communicate information and ideas in clear, concise written form and in a timely manner across a variety of platforms
• Exceptional report‑writing skills
• Willingness and ability to work holidays and weekends
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work independently

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
