High Rise Security Officer – Full Time – Portland, OR
Wage: $22.00/HR
Available
Schedule:
Wednesday - Friday 11am-3pm, Saturday - Sunday 7pm-7am
Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving elite training in safety and security. We are seeking customer service driven individuals for security positions and have a dedicated Region and Area Management Support Staff to foster growth and advancement in the company.
Responsibilities- Conflict resolution and de-escalation
- Perform access control at security entrances/exits
- Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and terrain types
- Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
- Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity
- Provide detailed written reports
- Work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily
- Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
- Standard computer/technology skills required
- Customer service background preferred
- Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner
- Must have great attention to detail and remain alert throughout the shift
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation
- All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
