As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Portland, OR
, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Commercial Real Estate. In this customer‑facing role, you will welcome visitors, monitor access, manage check‑ins, and support daily security‑related operations from a central station. Your duties include providing visibility, clear communication, and attentive service to deter incidents and uphold company values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate$21.20 / Hour
Job Schedule- Day:
Mon–Sat 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, front desk protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access to the property by verifying visitor credentials, documenting guest arrivals and departures, and communicating with building personnel regarding approved access requests.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving, escalating concerns to property management and/or first responders when appropriate.
- Support front desk operations by answering questions, providing directions, receiving deliveries, and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and other security‑related documentation.
- Observe lobby and entry activity and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to deter unwanted activity and support daily property operations.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
