Security Officer Driving Patrols

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Tue 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM, Wed 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM, Thu 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM, Fri 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM, Sat 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces for security-related concerns, assisting with compliance with post orders, badge checks, and visitor procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and maintenance or security-related issues, and relay important information during shift changes and/or to site leadership.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
