Security Officer - Walking Patrols

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a cultural institution setting.;
Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, public areas, entrances, walkways, and perimeter spaces to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may need attention.;
Monitor visitor flow and access points, help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas, and provide clear directions and assistance during special events, peak attendance periods, and/or closing procedures.;
Support the preservation-focused environment by reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns that could affect visitors, staff, exhibits, or property.
