• Monitor access-control systems, surveillance cameras, alarms and security operations.
• Verify identification, issue or update badges and assist with access issues.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot and vehicle patrols.
• Identify and report hazards, suspicious activity, unauthorized access and other security concerns.
• Respond to disturbances, medical emergencies, alarms and facility incidents.
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Provide professional assistance to employees, visitors and contractors.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two to three years of security experience.
• Valid security license or certification where required.
• Strong observation, communication, judgment and customer-service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk and patrol for extended periods.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain it after hire.
