The Garda World armed security supervisor job in Portland supports Portland Clean & Safe in the downtown district. This full-time leadership position combines armed security, rapid incident response, officer supervision, reporting and coordination with public-safety partners.

• Lead the security team and assign daily responsibilities.
• Support scheduling, performance reporting, in-service training, crew evaluation and disciplinary processes.
• Provide uniformed, radio-equipped armed security services in the Portland Clean & Safe district.
• Respond quickly to calls for service using an assigned vehicle.
• Address criminal conduct and street disorder while coordinating appropriately with Portland Police Bureau officers and other agencies.
• Maintain daily activity logs and detailed incident reports.
• Apply de-escalation, mental-health crisis response, trauma-informed practices and social-service referral training.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of armed-security experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean motor-vehicle record.
• At least 21 years old.
• Ability to pass Garda World’s screening process.
• Ability to meet Oregon DPSST certification requirements.
• Prior supervisory, military or law-enforcement experience is helpful.
