Summary
The Asset Protection Coordinator helps maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, and assets. The role supports safety initiatives, investigates incidents, and partners with leadership to reduce shrink and promote operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
- Support investigations by gathering data, conducting package checks, and responding to alarms.
- Enforce safety and security procedures and execute shrink reduction strategies using RFID and reporting tools.
- Complete incident and security reports, assist with team training, and partner with management and local law enforcement.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail or asset protection experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills, with sound judgment and discretion.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and use surveillance, reporting, and monitoring technologies.
- A valid security license is required in Oregon.
