Position: LEA / LEB / EL06 Low Voltage Technician

We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled limited energy technician to install fire, security, audio/visual, communications systems, and other low voltage systems in mainly commercial/industrial and occasionally residential projects.

The right candidate for this role will have the ability to lead projects as well as other technicians or apprentices as necessary.

You will be a direct representation of company values and the rest of the Innova team.

A professional demeanor and appearance must always be maintained in person and in all forms of communication while interacting with coworkers, clients, and other trades.

We have opportunities available in Central Oregon, the north and south Willamette Valley as well as SW Washington.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Oregon LEA or LEB License (LEA Preferred)
  • Preferred Washington EL06
  • 5+ years of hands-on low voltage installation experience
  • Neat presentable appearance
  • Clean DMV record and valid driver’s license
  • Great communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills
  • Good research skills and attention to detail

Areas of Knowledge Necessary:

  • Burglary, Fire, Access, and Surveillance systems
  • Data Networking and Communication systems
  • Relays, digital and analog circuitry
  • Power supplies and distribution
  • Wire termination, labeling, and management
  • Use of electronic testing devices and power tools
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
