Landscape Construction Lead

Join our award-winning team at Dennis' 7 Dees as a Landscape Construction Lead and help build stunning outdoor spaces that transform our client’s properties. As a Landscape Construction Lead, you'll oversee and participate in the installation of residential landscape projects throughout the Portland metro area. You'll work closely with the Foreman on daily activities, ensure quality and safety standards, and help mentor crew members while creating beautiful, functional outdoor environments for our clients.

• Build high-quality hardscapes including patios, retaining walls, steps, water features, and pathways
• Install lawns, plants, sprinkler systems, and outdoor lighting
• Ensure projects meet design specifications and quality standards

• Operate and maintain powered equipment including trenchers, skid steers, track hoes, and loaders
• Utilize compactors, sod cutters, and various hand tools including shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows
• Follow all safety protocols when using equipment

• Guide and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques
• Communicate effectively with foremen, project managers and clients as needed

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in professional landscape construction/installation
• Physical capability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist, climb, squat, and lift up to 75 pounds daily
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test

• Supervisory experience
• Valid driver's license
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of Pacific Northwest plants and materials

• Work Monday to Friday starting between 6:00 and 7:00 am depending on the season
• Standard 8-hour workdays with overtime opportunities during peak season (primarily spring and summer)
• This position is based out of our headquarters in SE Portland.

• Starting wage of $20-22 per hour, dependent upon experience
