Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Carpenter position based in Portland, OR. The Carpenter will work on-site to handle various building tasks, including framing, finish carpentry, and repair work. Daily responsibilities include using hand tools and power tools for construction, installing structural and aesthetic elements, and ensuring that projects meet high standards of craftsmanship and sustainability. The Carpenter will collaborate on projects that align with the company’s values of quality and energy efficiency.

- Proficiency in Carpentry, including framing and finish carpentry skills
- Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Strong understanding of construction processes and ability to read technical plans and architectural plans
- Commitment to delivering precise, high-quality craftsmanship
- Previous experience in sustainable building practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring project deadlines are met
- Physical ability to perform construction tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal carpentry training or apprenticeship preferred
