Role SummaryThe Driller’s Assistant supports the drilling crew in daily drilling operations. Responsibilities include moving, setting up, and operating related equipment to assist with drilling activities. This role requires repetitive bending, lifting, climbing, and the ability to work collaboratively within a small crew environment. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and is generally physically demanding.
This position involves regional and national travel throughout approximately 80% of scheduled workdays, combining the adventure of working in new places with the stability of steady, full‑time work.
Compensation RangeEstimated annual earning potential: $82,000–$102,000
, including overtime, per diem, and bonuses.
