Location: North Portland
Pay: $30–$40 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–7:30 PM (Mid Shift)

What You’ll Do:- Perform advanced diagnostics on diesel trucks, trailers, and tanker equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and emissions‑related issues
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections
- Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, cooling systems, and drivetrain components
- Work on Freightliner, Kenworth, Cummins, and tanker trucks / trailers
- Utilize computer diagnostic systems to identify and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and service records
- Follow company procedures, OSHA safety standards, and repair guidelines
- Support fleet reliability through quality workmanship and attention to detail
- $30–$40 per hour DOE
- Monday–Thursday schedule with 3‑day weekends

The Musts:
- 3–5+ years of diesel mechanic experience
- Strong diagnostic abilities including computer, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Experience working on Freightliner, Kenworth, Cummins, and tanker equipment
- Knowledge of DPF systems and diesel emissions systems
- Willingness to listen and learn about the fleet and their process
- Ability to drive a manual transmission
- Computer literacy and willingness to learn company software systems
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Ability to pass random drug screenings
- No DUI convictions within the last 10 years
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and perform physical shop duties
- HAZMAT endorsement or willingness to obtain
- Welding experience
- Vocational or technical diesel training
- Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and industry compliance requirements
