Compensation: $55 per hour + commission and bonus opportunity
Employment Type: W-2 employee
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Thursday 7:00 am PST – 5:30 pm PST). Fridays off.
Location: Portland, Oregon (Portland Metro)
Work Setting: Onsite, in-person work-from-work position.
Vehicle & Tools: Company vehicle and tools provided.
Founded in 2013, Rupp Family Builders is a woman-owned, family-run and operated residential construction operation specializing in six‑week kitchen remodels and four‑week bathroom remodels.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage work to complete projects on time, ensuring accurate scheduling and communication with project coordinators, production managers, and clients.
- Track plumbing‑related job expenses (labor and materials) and provide accurate time estimates so that projects stay within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ready for work the next day.
- Deliver 5‑star homeowner reviews and keep emergency callbacks related to plumbing work low.
- At least 63% of projects completed within the originally estimated hours.
- 25% or less of scheduled projects have one day or less of overrun in a 90‑day rolling period.
- Less than three last‑minute no‑shows or sudden schedule shifts per rolling three‑month period.
- All plumbing‑related work completed within budget for the jobs completed in the prior six‑month rolling period.
- No more than one homeowner complaint about cleanliness and organization in a rolling three‑month period.
- Keep emergency call backs from homeowners to less than three per 12‑month rolling period.
- Licensed journeyman plumber in Oregon.
- 0–2 years post‑turn‑out journeyman plumber experience.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Excellent at documenting plans and scheduling.
- Prefers proactive planning to reactive chaos.
- Enjoys collaborating with a close‑knit team that feels like family.
