A UVI Technician performs detailed used vehicle inspections and light reconditioning tasks prior to vehicles being distributed to Tonkin dealerships. Accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency are essential as your work directly impacts vehicle quality, safety, and readiness for sale.

• Perform Used Vehicle Inspections (UVIs) following Tonkin standards and procedures
• Accurately document vehicle condition, needed repairs, and recommendations
• Conduct basic reconditioning tasks as assigned
• Coordinate with the reconditioning and service teams to ensure timely vehicle flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and workflow processes

Flat‑Rate of $23.00 to $31.00 per hour depending on certifications. Top technicians are able to complete up to 250 hours per month! In addition to competitive pay, our benefits are designed to support you and your family:

• Automotive service or inspection experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older, able to pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screen
