• Knowledge of diesel and gas engines
• Diagnostic testing on engines, interpreting the results
• Ability to read schematics
• Efficient and effective knowledge of service and repair procedures
• Effective collaboration, communication, and listening skills
• Preventative maintenance, including oil and other lubricant supplies for equipment
• Proper and safe handling of fuel and waste
• Ensure numerical, safety and company decals are affixed to each item
• Promotes safe practices and safety in the shop
• Uses and promotes use of personal protective equipment
• Field visits in the case of an emergency or breakdown
• Independent worker with critical thinking skills
• Order parts - utilizing cost efficient practices
• Notify customer and manager of any damages on rental return slips
• Tag equipment in for repairs
• Repaint equipment
• Start and ensure proper functionality of all equipment
• Safe and proper load securement
• Inspection of equipment
• Recommends to Manager:
  Safety, Environmental Issues, Equipment Replacement, Major Repairs
• Consistently wears clean and appropriate company attire
• Perform all other duties as required, assigned, or needed

• Valid Driver’s License
• Welding and Computer skills are a plus
