CNG Diesel Mechanic - 2nd Shift

• Starting salary of $33–$36 per hour, depending on experience
• Additional shift differential of $1 per hour

• Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• Repair / maintenance shop at our Portland, OR hauling site

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
• Estimate time and material costs for vehicle repairs and new parts
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles; prioritize employee and community safety
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times
• Assist senior mechanics with project work
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam

Required to lift, push, pull, crouch, climb, stand, walk, and grasp frequently; occasionally sit and balance. Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, and environmental factors such as dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes is common. Work occurs both indoors and outdoors, in garage, shop, or gas plant conditions.
