Master Mechanic Field Technician
Looking for a Master Mechanic for a heavy equipment company to be a Field Technician. What you'll work on includes heavy equipment including 18 wheelers and sometimes smaller utility duty trucks (including F150s), running on gas, diesel, or electric power. Service of tractor-trailers. Diagnostics and repair on cooling systems, hydraulic systems, and turbos, including removal and replacement. Understanding of the difference between flow and pressure, and basic hydraulic principles.
Familiarity with 5V reference systems versus carb systems, and the difference between 12V and 24V, volts, and amps. Fuel injector remanufacturing and coating injector work.
What we're looking for is a solid working knowledge of heavy equipment, tractors, and trailers. Someone who takes their time and demands perfection in their work.
Schedule:
Four 10 hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday. Weekends off, with overtime available. Shift differential applies after 5pm with overtime added on top.
